Colorado Public Utilities Commissioner John Gavan to Host Community Meetings on Utility Issues and “Clean Heat Plans” in Grand Junction and Montrose, July 27, 28

Denver, CO - Commissioner John Gavan (one of three Colorado Public Utilities Commissioners) will be holding a regional public meeting on utility issues and “Clean Heat Plans” in Grand Junction on Wed., July 27 and Thurs., July 28 in Montrose, Colo.

Gavan is holding a community meeting at Colorado Mesa University, University Center, Meyer Ballroom, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. He’ll be joined by local leaders and the Public Service Company of Colorado, to discuss the future of gas and clean heat requirements for gas utilities.

New 983 Area Code is Coming to the 303/720 Region in the Greater Denver Area

DENVER - With new telephone numbers in the greater Denver area in high demand, the Colorado  Public Utilities Commission approved the implementation of the new 983 area code to overlay the existing 303/720 region, which serves the metropolitan area of Denver and surrounding communities such as Aurora, Boulder, Brighton, Castle Rock, Columbine, Englewood, Erie, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Thornton, Westminster and Wheat Ridge.
