State Board of Landscape Architects - Stakeholder Meeting on April 22, 2022

The State Board of Landscape Architects will hold a virtual Stakeholder Meeting to allow stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed changes throughout the Board’s rules pursuant to the rule review mandated by section 24-4-103.3, C.R.S. The purpose of the rule review is to assess the continuing need, appropriateness, and cost-effectiveness of the rules to determine if they should be continued in their current form, modified, or repealed.

Colorado Option Advisory Board Applications - SUBMIT BY APRIL 15

House Bill 21-1232, a bill passed by the Colorado Legislature and signed into law by Governor Polis last year, established the Colorado Option Program and directed the Division of Insurance to consult with an Advisory Board. The Colorado Option will help improve access, affordability, and racial health equity for Coloradans purchasing health insurance in the individual market (meaning insurance, not from an employer) and the small group market (for employers with less than 100 employees).

PUC to take public comment on Public Service Company of Colorado’s Proposed Base Rate Increase

DENVER (January 17, 2022) — The Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC), part of the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), will conduct a virtual public comment hearing on Wednesday, January 19th to take comment on a Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) base rate increase.

The public comment hearing will be held virtually in the PUC’s Hearing Room B and will begin at 4:00 p.m. and last until 6:00 p.m. or until concluded by the Commission.

Colorado Public Utilities Commission warns that older cell phones may cease operating in 2022

DENVER (November 23, 2021) — The Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC), part of the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), along with the National Association of State 911 Administrators (NASNA) is issuing a notice to consumers that older cell phones may cease operating in early 2022 due to the retirement of 3G networks and support for phones using 3G service. This may include other devices that use 3G connectivity, such as some medical alert devices, tablets, smart watches, home security systems, and other devices.
