Consumer Advisory: Public Comment Hearings on Dec. 8 and Jan. 3 for Atmos Energy’s Proposed Natural Gas Rate Increase

DENVER - The Office of the Utility Consumer Advocate (UCA), Colorado’s advocate for residential, small commercial and agricultural utility ratepayers in rate and rule-making proceedings before the Public Utilities Commission (PUC), is informing natural gas customers of Atmos Energy Corporation (Atmos), of two PUC remote public comment hearings for customers to comment on Atmos’s proposed natural gas rate increase.

DORA’s Division of Professions and Occupations Needs Public Board Members

The Division of Professions and Occupations, part of the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), is seeking members of the public at large to serve on our professional regulatory boards.

The Division regulates more than 50 professions, occupations and entities in Colorado, ranging from numerous healthcare professions to a varied group of business occupations including electricians, plumbers, architects, outfitters, and more. 

CCRD Celebrates Native American Heritage Month

In 1990, President George H. W. Bush approved a joint resolution designating November 1990 as “National American Indian Heritage Month.” For almost one hundred years, Americans both Indian and non-Indian urged that there be permanently designated by the nation a special place on the calendar to honor the contributions, achievements, sacrifices, and cultural and historical legacy of the original inhabitants of what is now the United States and their descendants: the American Indian and Alaska Native people.
