Are you or someone you know passionate about serving Colorado’s immigrant communities and breaking down barriers to health insurance access?

Starting in November 2022, low-income individuals who don't currently qualify for federal premium tax credits through Connect for Health Colorado (the state's health exchange) may apply for subsidized insurance regardless of immigration status.

To assist in enrolling these individuals, the Colorado Division of Insurance is seeking Public Health AmeriCorps Members to join Enroll for Health Colorado. During the nine-month program, members will be placed at host sites across the state to support and expand outreach and enrollment of undocumented individuals in state-subsidized health insurance coverage. No public health experience is required.

Members will become Certified Health Coverage Guides and receive other job training for a future career in public health as they make a difference in local Colorado communities. The program runs until May 2023.
